Rob spent most of his BBC career as a sports journalist, covering Olympic Games, World Cups and Commonwealth Games, along with major golf events such as the Open Championship and the Ryder Cup. More recently, Rob was the familiar face of sport on "BBC Breakfast", but the 4am alarm calls eventually lost their appeal and now he’s free to diversify, specifically with Five Iron and its golf productions. However, Five-Iron has also produced two films for the Helen Rollason Heal Cancer Charity where he’s a vice-patron.
Rob is also a director of the internet tv service The Country Channel and he remains a broadcaster with BBC World’s “Extra Time” sports interview programme as well as BBC Radio 4’s “Today” programme.
